Firewire Cable

For multimedia devices such as scanners and digital camera, universal serially bus is the most common interconnect method. It enables any machine on the ip networks (client) to contact any other remote machine (a dedicated host-servers) and perform block i/o transfer on it just as it would do on its own local hard disk. provide difficulties in monitoring traffic because each port is isolated until it transmits information and even then only the sending and receiving ports are connected. Within the text and graphics modes, some monitors also offer a choice of resolutions.

A digital subscriber line connection is dedicated to a single subscriber, and a cabled modems connection is shared among many (possibly more than 100) subscribers.

Firewire Cable info: When one computer wants to send some information, it obeys the following algorithm:If the wire is idle, start transmitting, else go to step 4[transmitting information] if detecting a collision, continue transmitting until the minimum packet time is reached (to ensure that all other transmitters and receivers detect the collision) then go to step 4. The apple macintosh used a similar system, but later changed to a new connector with only 8 pins, less than what is needed for a modems. See also Cable Modem Router.
